To say and do what you truly feel, without deception or hypocrisy

I wrote my hospital’s code of conduct. I believed in every word… and insisted that my team hold me to the same standards as I held them. Anything less would have been hypocrisy.

No one respects a hypocrite. No one likes being manipulated or deceived. Don’t offer pleasing words others can’t trust; they’d much rather hear your honest opinion, even if they disagree. People want sincerity.
